This month the photo challenge is all about contrast and in this weeks inspired post I wanted to discuss working with light and shadow.
Light is one of the most important aspects of photography (if not the most important) and our eyes will always be drawn to it.
While we might seek out the light, what about the shadows? Often the temptation is to reduce the impact of the shadows and to bring out the detail in post processing. And while this is great in many instances it can lead to flat looking images. So what happens if you embrace the shadows?
