Thank you for your words and images, Gill. I particularly like the ‘Archway’, how the ancient, gnarled limb draws you in to the luminous world of green within.
What a lovely post Gill. I hope I never lose that curiosity. Similar to your woodlands I have one place ( Winterton) that I constantly photograph and I am always finding new subjects and it is really good for me both mentally and for developing as a photographer.
My parents and grandparents used to take me on holiday to Winterton when I was young so it has a special place in my heart, but it is not somewhere I have explored for a while.
It is lovely to find a place that you really connect with and can explore over and over with the camera.
Haha, it's your photographs that are inspiring me at the moment! You have some very unique perspectives! And thanks for the recommended resources, I'm looking into them.
I’m so glad to have found your work, Gill! I’m looking forward spending time with your gorgeous work here. Maybe you would enjoy the idea of micro-seasons? It’s an ancient idea but one I think would resonate with you.🌿

Thank you very much Ralph for your comments. I love ancient oaks with their gnarly shapes, there is always something interesting to photograph.
